Principal's Update

Dear Anasazi Families,

What a wonderful week it has been welcoming back some of our students. Next week, on Tuesday, we will welcome back some our 3rd - 5th graders as well. Families thank you for your continued partnership as we implement phased return to learn in person.

A few reminders as we implement the drop off and pick-up routines:

  • If in the drive through, right lane, you must remain in your vehicle at all times. You can't park and leave the car, get out to help your child or retrieve something from the trunk. This is for safety purposes. Staff is stationed all around to help. Have backpacks, water bottles and masks ready to go.
  • Parking can be found on the street - once paved completely or in parking spots not assigned to staff.
  • The gates close at 8:40. Class begins at 8:45 and students must be in their seat ready to go. If you arrive and the gates are closed, you will need to park and sign your child in in the front office.
  • In the afternoon please have your name placard visible to ensure a smooth pickup line. *3rd-5th families will receive these next week.
  • All parkers and walkers need to use the crosswalk that is painted in front of the front office.
  • SLOW DOWN and adhere to the school zone speed please.

Thank you for your continued help in making Anasazi as safe as can be before and after school. Don't worry - the pick-up will get faster as we all get back into the routine.

Have a great 3-day weekend!

Serving your children,

Ms. Jennifer Waldron
