The Wildcat Newsletter
Please remember to send your student in seasonally appropriate clothing, including jackets and outerwear, as they come to school each day. We will continue to go outside for recess as much as possible if the windchill is above 20 degrees. If your student does not have a coat or outerwear, please fill out the Google Form here and we would be happy to provide one.
With colder temperatures comes an increase in colds and flu-like illnesses. We ask that you please monitor your student for signs of illness and keep them home when they are sick. Please contact our school nurse, Geana Chapp, at extension 120 with any questions or concerns.
Wishing you and your families a safe and enjoyable winter break, and please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Your child must be at least two and one half years old to attend a screening. The screenings are by appointment, and at no cost to families.
Please click HERE to complete the Preschool Screening Interest Form and someone will be in touch to with you to schedule an appointment for January 13.

Looking for ways to engage your child(ren) over Winter Break? Consider an idea from the list below:
- Read seasonal books together as a family
- Practice writing skills by composing a letter of gratitude, such as thank you notes
- Incorporate math skills by baking or cooking together and involving your child(ren) in measuring ingredients
- Get active by exploring nature and discussing what everyone observes or move your body indoors with GoNoodle or Yoga with Adriene
- Explore your family heritage by interviewing relatives
Many students will be bringing their devices home over winter break in order to have the opportunity to complete work or engage with learning materials during their time away from school. Please be sure that these devices come back to school charged and ready-to-go on Monday, January 3. If going out of town, please consider leaving your device at home or adding it to a checklist so that it is not left behind at your travel destination. Thank you so much!
