Vikan Library Needs Your Help
We have the majority of our books weeded through and back up on shelves in a bookstore format--by genre. Students will easily be able to find books they are loving to read through : realistic fiction; fantasy; dystopia; etc. Non-fiction books have been weeded through and organized as well. Furniture is beginning to be organized in order to create the bookstore "hang out" vibe we are looking for.
The help we are looking for is support with updating and recovering our cushions for our wood furniture seating. The table set has been given new life with some sanding and pretty paint which is requiring an update on our cushions as well.
Here are a couple of pics of our current cushions. If any of you possess a skill set on reupholstering and you have ideas and/or advice for us, please reach out to kwesterman@sd27j.net. We would greatly appreciate it!
