Intentional and Specific Prayers
In addition to the prayers listed below, we would love for you all to be intentionally praying that God would bring the right person to lead us in worship each week. Ask God to send us Godly men and women who can encourage us in the Scriptures and who are prepared to labor alongside us.
Matthew 9:37-38
"Then He (Jesus) said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest."
Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication
Spend intentional time adoring God for who He is, what He's done, and what He is doing, confess your own sins, and thank Him for His grace, forgiveness, and for answering prayers...
1. Pray for direction as we seek someone to lead us in singing songs of worship, each week.
2. Ask God to send laborers, fellow brothers, and sisters who are willing to serve alongside us so we can be more effective in building up the believers and reaching the lost.
3. Pray that God would reveal His truths to us and His desire for Godly living, especially as we study difficult topics on Tuesday evenings.
4. Ask for wisdom as to how and where you might serve him in the Church.
5. Pray for the families of our members, that we might reach them with the Gospel.
6. Pray that God would continue to grow and unify us in His Word and in prayer.
7. Pray for our nation, state, city, and community leaders.
8. Ask God to give us a passion for Himself and His people.
9. Ask God to show you who you need to reach out to, write to, or serve this week.
10. Ask God to give us the energy to continue pouring into one another.
11. Pray for our youth, that God would open their eyes, cause them to love Him more than anything else, and use them for His honor and glory. Send us people to help us disciple those youth.
12. Pray that God would strengthen Martie and grant him wisdom as he seeks to lead us.
13. Give us a heart for the lost people around us, opportunities to speak the truth with boldness with love.
14. Pray for those who are at the end of the school year, and facing many projects and deadlines. Help them Lord to finish well, and to see and glorify you in their studies.
15. God be glorified in us.
