Staff Shout-Outs
Our staff is awesome, and we would love for you to share the impact they are having on your child and/or family. Click the button below to submit a staff shout-out!
Mrs. Thompson
Mrs. Tammie always has something exciting to tell my child when she comes in the office. Mrs. Tammie makes sure my child gets a hug and words of encouragement before she personally walks her to class. We would not make it through our mornings without Mrs.Tammie.
Mr. Shaw
I am so thankful for his support and dedication to co-teaching one of my students. He has made a huge impact in this students learning in the last few months and it makes a difference! ~ Mrs. Walts
Mrs. Smith
Megan always shares lesson plans, but for this lesson she met with me ahead of time and invited my resource students and I to join this lesson on genres. My students were beyond excited to be in class with their friends! ~ Ms. Samek
Student Shout-Outs
Our learners are awesome too! We know they are involved in ALL types of things outside of school, and we would love to hear about their accomplishments! Click the button below to submit a student shout-out!

MIdlothian Strong
We love it when the MHS Theater students perform, but we love it even more when students like Eva and Rhett get to perform too!
Honor Relationships
Did you know we have the great, great nephew of Doris Miller as a student at LME? Last weekend, he visited Hawaii for the naming ceremony of the USS Doris Miller (CVN 81).
This aircraft is the first aircraft carrier named for an enlisted Sailor and the first named for an African American. Emrys was pinned by the Acting United States Secretary of the Navy. We are #MISDProud. #legacy #personalbest
