Badminton Singles Champion

Congratulations to Rujuta Sane on capturing the 2019 6A Badminton Singles Championship! she defeated 5 opponents on her way to the Championship match! We are proud of Rujuta as she is also a 4.7 gpa student as well as the Cross Country teams top female runner!

Model UN Awards

Forty novice Model UN delegates and 5 upperclassmen acting as chairs/judges attended Westwood's Model UN conference on October 26th. There were 180 delegates from 12 schools across the Valley. They represented their 10 assigned countries strongly and learned much about the UN process. five os the students were selected to receive Best Delegate or Best Paper awards plus one Honorable Mention.

2020 HOBY Seminar

Attention Sophomores: If you are interested in improving your leadership skills and becoming an agent-of-change in your community consider attending the 2020 HOBY Seminar this summer at ASU-West Campus in Glendale. Hamilton HS will select and pay the fees for one sophomore student to attend. Applications are available in the Career Center (D100) or go to www.HOBY.org for more information. Congratulations to our very own AMAZING Angel Russo for winning a Fiesta Bowl $5,000 Wishes for Teachers Grant. She goes above and beyond for our students and there is no one more deserving than her. Congrats Angel!

Smile Donor - From Darkness Lead Us To Light

Hey Huskies, are you passionate about supporting our homeless and underprivileged students at Hamilton? Then come and join us for a hike to raise money for our students in need. Excellence in Mathematics Competition

Congratulations to the Hamilton Math Team for their performance at the Carol Edwards Excellence in Mathematics Competition on Friday 11/1 at CGCC!

They placed second overall as a team, and also earned individual awards in both divisions, with Michael Chen taking 6th in Division 1 and Richard Thor taking 2nd in Division 2. Other members of the team included Tristan Ma, James Lee, Sungmin Park, Xenia Zhao, Eddie Zhang, Rick Sun, Alec Gonzalez, Joshua Grumski, Ryan Gan, Feyi Adebekun, and Richard Cheng.

Please congratulate these wonderful students on their amazing performance and a great start to the year!

Hamilton made history at the 2019 AIA Division I Golf Championship

Hamilton became the first AIA school to win the boys team and individual and girls individual golf state titles in the same season.


The HHS Boys Golf team capped off a perfect season (five tournament wins) with a victory at the 2019 Arizona Division 1 State Championship played at Omni Tucson National GC! It was the team's 7th state championship in school history. The Husky's battled a talented Brophy team each day to win by three shots overall. Both teams shot 11 under par the second day. Johnny Walker claimed the individual state title, Mahanth Chirravuri earned All-State honors, teammates Anawin Pickulthong, Ethan Adam, Ryo Ito, Nick Lippe, Tyler Biberdorf, Alex Paul, Rohan Singh and Aiden Palermo were all a part of this accomplishment.


Congratulation to Joy Callinan for earning the honor as the #1 girls golfer in the State of Arizona along with her teammates Jenn Seo, Maddie Adam and Marsa Waite for a successful 2019/20 season. Proud to be a Husky!

Theatre News

Please congratulate Adelina Cetaj who won a Top 3 in the State slot for the State Playworks Competition for the 2nd year in a row! She will have her play workshoped and directed by a professional director and presented at our State Festival next weekend.

National Hispanic Recognition Program

In keeping with the College Board's mission to help students take advantage of the opportunities they have earned, each year the National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP) recognizes about 7,000 academically outstanding Hispanic/Latino high school juniors who take the PSAT/NMSQT. Students achieve the minimum required PSAT/NMSQT cut score for their region; and have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Make A Wish Foundation

Hamilton Student Government raised nearly $3,000 to grant wishes for kids with terminal illnesses in Arizona. The Hamilton community really got involved and stepped up to plate to donate money to help this wonderful cause

Varsity Cross Country

Congratulations to our Varsity Cross Country team. Boys finished 5th overall at sectionals and qualified for state. Ryan Dempsey and Michael Sexson both medaled. Girls finished 3rd overall and also qualified. Rujuta Sane (1st place overall), Anna Haralson and Rose Connolly also medaled.
