Coming from the Greek work "rock celery" it has been one of the most popular herbs today. It grows near the Mediterranean and is sold fresh and dried. It is also used in savory dishes.

Parsley has been known to prevent tumors from growing, especially in your lungs. It contains volatile oils and flavonoids.

- In Greek times, parsley was used in funerals and sprinkled on the dead body to help deal with the stench.
- It was said that while picking the leaf of parsley, saying your enemies name would bring death to that said enemies name.
- And it is so difficult to grow, that it is said only witches and evil spirits can grow it.
