Typhoid Fever
How the disease is transmitted?
People with the disease carry it in there blood stream even if they are recovered. If you eat or drink after someone with the disease you can get the bacteria.
Symptoms
Usually have a high fever of 103 degrees F to 104 degrees F. They may feel weak, or have stomach pains, headache, or loss of appetite. Sometime you may get a rash of rose colored spots
Treatment
It is treated with antibiotics which kill the Salmonella bacteria. You can get therapy also
Prevention
Two basic actions can prevent you from getting Typhoid fever. Avoid risky foods and drinks. Get vaccinated against typhoid fever.
