About Boatman's Tower
The Boatman's Tower is a 45 foot limestone tower that houses 25 bells and cast figures of bargemen and mules. Every thirty minuets the bargemen and mules spin to the tune of th 25 bells. The Boatman's Tower was built by Koninkiijke Eijsbouts from Asten, Netherlands. It was detected in 1987. The Boatman's Tower represents life on the canal from 1789-1879.
