Focus on Teaching and Learning
*Begin by identifying your Essential Learning Targets.
*Develop Common Assessments for the Unit
*Use Rubric to determine Mastery
Then plan the teaching!
Baseline Data for Implementation
Take a look at the baseline data we collected Wednesday, September 2nd and develop an intentional focus to improve your students on the habits they have been taught.
Provide a clear vision for the Learning Target!
Students understanding what they will need to know and do as well as how their success will be measured.
Use Models of Strong and Weak work!
Model for students what strong student work looks like compared to what weak student work looks like.
Offer immediate and regular feedback often!
Common Checks for Understanding daily will provide immediate feedback. With consistent use the feedback to students will be regular and will guide them in their learning.
Building your PLN
Using Twitter or Facebook, what did you learn about "Boot Camp" and how can you use this idea to improve student learning in your classroom!
