Probstfield Elementary School
Welcome!
Important Information for January
Thank you so much for sharing your students with us! I hope everyone had a lovely break and got to enjoy time with your family and friends!
Our morning broadcasts have been focused on the feelings thermometer- ask your child what they have learned about feelings during the morning broadcast.
As we come back to school after a break, it can take a day or two to settle in. Please talk with your students about what the expectations are at school and what they are learning about being a successful student. You are the most important influence in your child's life and we appreciate your support.
Know that you are always welcome to reach out with any questions or concerns you have. We want all Probstfield Elementary students to experience success!
We would greatly appreciate it if you would click the button below and complete our short Mid Year Survey. This is a huge help to us as we work to be the best school we can be!
If you have any questions or need support, please reach out to our front desk at 218-284-3700.
All the best-
The team at Probstfield Elementary School

Looking to Support Your Child's Learning at Home?
Skip Counting: forwards, backwards, by twos, fives, tens, twenties, hundreds! This helps students of all ages become more proficient math thinkers.
What Goes With? Game: One person picks a number and says to their partner: What goes with ___ to make 10? The other person has to solve and say what number it is. Example: What goes with 3 to make 10? Answer: 7! You can do this for tens, hundreds, even thousands! To make it even more challenging, play with any number!
Letter Fun: When your child is reading a word that is new, encourage them to sound out each letter. Notice letters on signs, in books, and on clothing. Ask your child to tell you the letter and what sound that letter makes.
These activities may seem simple, but they help all students grow their skills and build confidence! Have fun!
Attendance: We want you here everyday!
We are Hiring!
We have a paraprofessional position available! Not available everyday? We are always looking for substitute paraprofessionals, lunchroom supervisors, and teachers!
