Thank you again for attending conferences this week! The information we learn from you and discuss together strengthens our work with students in so many ways.
Below is a welcome video in a quick format to give a feel for what we would say if we were live and together in person and a brief introduction to our staff who you will likely not get a chance to meet through conferencing. Also, look for more information on Girls Basketball, Health and Safety Info and Updates included in this message.
It's another great week to be a Bulldog!
Warmly,
Joanna Tobin, Principal
Welcome to Conferences Video

Below is our message to parents of 7th and 8th Grade Parents:
Hello Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to our 2021 Fall Zoom Conference sign-ups. We look forward to seeing you and value this time to connect with you regarding your child’s progress.
Scheduled one-on-one conferences for an overview of your student’s progress in all classes:
This conference will be with one middle school teacher who will go over general information about classes and provide an overview of your student’s progress. Please schedule a time so you may hear an overview of your student’s progress in all subjects to be shared during this meeting.
Wednesday, October 13 from 4:30 to 7:30 or
Thursday, October 14 from 8:15 to 12:00
“Arena Style” Conferences:
This is a time to speak directly with your child’s teacher (each specific subject area), after the above opportunity. We encourage families with questions, or concerns about their student’s progress to please take this opportunity to have conversation and work closely with us.
Drop in hours:
Thursday, October 14 1:00 to 4:00, 5:00 to 7:45
“Arena Style” -- need to talk to another teacher about something specific to their class?
Click on the teacher’s link below during “Arena Style” hours and please plan to wait until your turn. Once conferencing we encourage families to not go beyond five minutes during the drop in time, so that we have time to talk with all who are present.
This will be done on a first come first serve basis and families will essentially be in a line waiting. You will be in the teacher’s waiting room until it is your turn to meet, and teachers will conference in the order you arrive. Please be patient as you could be waiting for a while.
Links and the communication above have been emailed out. If you have not received a communication from us we may have a non-preferred or inaccurate email in our system. Please call the Ninety-One School Office at 503-263-7112 so we can resolve this.
The middle school team is looking forward to connecting with you!
