Pierremont Return to School Plan
10-14-20
Hello Pierremont Families,
We are looking forward to our transition to in-person learning next week. About 27% of our students will be attending our virtual campus. Even though some students are in our virtual campus, and some are in the building, we are still connected as one Pierremont Family. On October 19, you will hear from your child's teacher.
Below are a few items we need our in-person families to accomplish before students return to the building on Thursday, October 22.

What to bring to school?
Students should not need to bring many things to and from school regularly. Remember, school supplies are at school. Each day, please send your child to school with the following:
A backpack and layered clothing as needed for weather (ex. coats, hats, gloves)
A water bottle
A mask to wear and an extra mask to stay at school, just in case.
Lunch box or bag if your child is not taking a school-provided lunch.
Your teacher will let you know what materials need to be returned to school and by when.
Daily Health Screening
Food Services
Transportation Items
Fill out the daily transportation by Monday, October 19.
Each year we ask you to let us know your daily transportation routine and transportation mode in an unexpected early dismissal. We understand that your child may need to have a different mode of transportation home on certain days of the week due to work or other family constraints. This year busses will have seating charts, and siblings will sit together. We ask you to be mindful of multiple changes in a week unless it is necessary. Also, bus passes will not be used this year for students to ride home together on an occasional basis.
Kindergarten bus rider preparation
Car rider identification preparation
To ensure our dismissal routines are smooth and safe, we ask you to display information in your car window. For the first day of school, please make a sign with your children(s) name and family last name to display in the passenger side window (plain paper is fine - the bigger the print, the better). On the first day of school, your child will bring home a Panther Pick-Up card for you to use in place of the homemade sign moving forward.
