They also listen to clients and ask questions, to help the clients understand their problems and develop strategies to improve their lives.
What you need if your interested
To become a mental health counselor you will need to go through an large amount of schooling. Which includes receiving a Bachelors Degree then a Masters Degree, and finally completing a Doctorate ,or PhD program , there are many several school in Virginia that offer this course such as South University , James Madison , Longwood University , Old Dominion and many more .
