Roberto Cruz Leadership Academy
**Weekly Update** 03/05/21 Vol. 28
Hola Jaguar Familias!
It has been a successful week and we are excited to honor Women’s History Month. This week we are spotlighting Dolores Huerta and the selfless work that she has contributed to our community. Dolores has often championed the rights of the powerless and stood strong in the face of oppression. We honor the qualities of leadership that she has exhibited for communities of color and workers facing discrimination. In this newsletter, you will read more about her achievements and what she has accomplished throughout her life. RCLA salutes her and the avenues that she has opened for our community!
Parents- please continue to support our Jaguars by modeling healthy habits of discipline. At this time of the year, our students need support and consistency. We have the highest expectations for our students and we would like for them to achieve their personal best. We have just sent out report card grades for GP 4 as well as your student’s progress on the MAP/NWEA exams. Please review the data with your child and encourage them to concentrate on their areas of growth.
Next week we will have our Cafecito con el Director on March 10th at 7 pm. Please join us for an evening of fun and important information. As usual, please feel free to call our front office if you would like to speak with me. I am looking forward to hearing from you!
