Yearbook Pictures Needed

This Week's Parent Reminders
12/10
- Tuition payment due if paying monthly
- 5th grade to MOPS 9-11am
- K4-2nd grade Christmas concert at Clinton Christian Academy (LOCATION CHANGE). Students should arrive to the CCA gym by 6:20pm. Dress is dressy Christmas attire; no jeans or tennis shoes unless that is all you have. Girls should have shoulders covered, no spaghetti straps.
- Dismissal at 11:30am. No lunch or after school care will be provided.
- 4-H meeting from 11:30am to 12:30pm
Peppermint Bark Recipe
The ingredients you will need to make peppermint bark is:
- 12 oz. semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 12 oz. white chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
- 8 candy canes, crushed
CCA Chapel Today was Amazing!!!

Teacher Spotlight: Ms. Staley
Ms. Staley currently works in the office, as the administration secretary. She is also a Para and a sub when needed. She first came to CCA in 2010 to enroll her two boys, Justin & Gauge in K-4 and K-5.
She attended high school at Prairie View in LaCygne, Kansas. Ms. Staley attended college at Drury University, located in Springfield, MO and she taught preschool for four years at the Developmental Center of the Ozarks. Isaiah 41: 10 is her favorite Bible verse. Ms. Staley has two dogs and she enjoys watching the KC Chiefs and doing things outdoors (hiking and camping) in her spare time. We are glad to have you in the office this year! --Audrey

- Basketball GJV and BV @ Home vs. Show Me Christian. JV girls will play at 4 and Varsity boys will play at 5:30pm. (Student Section Theme is: N.E.O.N)
- Basketball BJH, GV, and BV @ Home vs. CPRS. JH Boys play at 4:30pm, Varsity Girls at 5:30pm and Varsity Boys at 7pm. (Student Section Theme: Silent Night, wear a Christmas Sweater). Pep Club needs all parents & students in attendance to help with this...please refrain from cheering for CCA until they score 10 points. After 10 points all spectators can cheer as much as they want. We will begin "Silent Night" in the Girl's Varsity Game. At half-time we will all sing the 1st verse of Silent Night together. The same will go for the Boy's Varsity Game. Cheer will be cheering during the Boy JH Game from 4:30-5:30pm, so we will not partake in "Silent Night" during their game.
- Basketball GJH, BV, and GV @ Overland Christian (7016 W 74th St, Overland Park, KS). GJH will play at 4:30, Boy Varsity at 5:30 and Girl Varsity at 7pm.
5/6th Grade Girls and Boys Basketball
The 5th and 6th grade girls and boys basketball teams played Leesville at Home on Monday, December 6th. Both teams have improved greatly since the beginning of the season. The boys won with a score of 40-18 and the girls won with a score of 22-9. Both teams set up good offense and played good team ball. Keep up the hard work! Pictures below.--Marlee & Audrey
Countdown to Christmas--Holiday Hats

FBLA Fundraiser
FBLA is selling CCA engraved, insulated, 22 ounce cups, for a fundraiser. All money will go directly to FBLA to help offset the cost of events and upcoming district and state competitions. If you would like to purchase an insulated cup for $15 please let the CCA Office know. --Priscilla
