Science CAASPP Testing and Make Ups
The students have worked hard these past two weeks on Language Arts and Math testing. Students have really been taking their time, which we haven’t seen as a whole in the past, so we are very pleased and proud of their efforts. Because of this, some students need more time this week to continue. We are back on a regular schedule this week, so we will pull students as needed to finish testing and will be trying to avoid pulling during Math and Language Arts classes.
Unfortunately, testing continues for the 8th graders this week. They have Science testing. This will be take place on Wednesday, May 15, during third period, and Thursday, May 16, during 4th period. For the most part, students will return to their same testing room and teacher during these testing times. Students do get a State provided reference sheet with formulas and Periodic Table for this test:

Here are sample questions with answers: http://www.caaspp.org/rsc/resources/CAST.training-scoring-guide-gr8.2018-19.pdf
Students can also go to the following link: http://www.caaspp.org/practice-and-training/index.html, click on the green “Student Interface” button and complete a practice science test.
