What we are learning in Room 12...
This is the area of the weekly newsletter where parents/guardians can be informed of what is planned for our week. If your child is going to be absent, please let me know in advance if possible, so I can send make-up work with them.
- Math - We will take the AIR test this week on the computers.
- Reading - We will finish our biographies about people important to Black History Month so that we can mail our work to Student Treasures Publishing. We will also celebrate the end of testing by watching the movie version of our new read-aloud book, Charlotte's Web.
- Writing/Spelling - There are no spelling words this week. In writing class, we are working on our opinion writing unit.
- Science - We are continuing our new unit about matter. Students have had fun learning songs about solids, liquids, and gases!
