"What a Hoot" Takes Off - join us!
Write, act in multi-cam sitcom for the StoryArk Festival!
The prompt: someone has maliciously messed up the Phipps audio-visual system so that all the movies play vertically instead of in horizontal! Our two bumbling cops must interview a host of quirky characters to discover who done it. What's going on? Who knows? YOU do! Help us figure it out! We'll be performing this two to five minute episode in front of three cameras - just like in a Hollywood multi-cam sitcom (albeit with less fancy equipment!).
We'll meet on Sundays from 3:00 to 4:30 PM at StoryArk (402 N Main Street, #350, Stillwater)
on the following dates: June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and July 7, 14, 21. Additional rehearsals will be called as needed at times to be determined by the group. The StoryArk Festival is on July 24 at 7:00. Plan for a rehearsal before the show. Tuition is $175, but scholarship is available. All are welcome regardless of ability to pay.

Brick by Brick: a Middle School Collaborative Writing Group
What’s your story? How are you going to tell it? Tell it brick by brick. Think of writing like building wall, one brick at a time and very soon, you will have something. Brick by Brick is a writing club for middle schoolers. We collaborate to tell a story brick by brick. We will meet weekly, for and hour or two at a time. We determine the meeting time and place. Ellen Eigner, the facilitator, is a guide only. The group will determine the subject matter and format. We will write a book together to be published upon its completion. If you like to write, if you like to collaborate with others, if you get excited about telling a story, you should really join us. (Tuition is $75, but financial assistance is available)
