It's Tiger Blast Time!

Principal's Message

October is one of my favorite months of the year. The temperature is finally where it is cold in the morning and beautiful during the day. The fall colors are in full swing, and the holidays that are upon us are focused on gratitude, family, and enjoying one another. We have much to be grateful for here at Parkridge Elementary. We have a wonderful, caring staff from our custodians, our Paraprofessionals, our office staff, and of course... all of our AMAZING teachers. I am blessed every day for the opportunity to work with all of them and we hope you know, that your children are in good hands each and everyday We also have supportive parents and community members, to which we all say "THANK YOU " for all that you do to make our Tiger Campus a safe, fun, and happy home away from home. And did I mention our incredible students who work hard everyday to learn new things, share their gifts and talents, and getting acclimated to new school expectations that are necessary to keep our school family healthy and thriving.

One of your greatest sources for getting progress on your child's academics and classroom happenings is to sign up on your child's teacher's Dojo App. Reach out to them if you need an invitation to be sent out to you ASAP!

Counselor's Corner

On Monday 10/4/2021, our 4th grade students participated in the annual World Kindness Youth Conference. Throughout the day, they participated in various activities to learn about all things kindness! Some of the topics included were empathy, friendship, and self-care. It was inspiring to see and hear our 4th grade students share stories of kindness throughout the day! Do you have a 4th grade student here? Ask them about what they did on Monday. We hope to continue spreading kindness throughout our campus all year!
