Bottle Drive Grad Fundraiser - Tomorrow, May 27

Bottle drop off Saturday, May 27 from 10am-2pm. Students, parents, neighbours, and all community members are invited to bring their bottles to the Fort High bus loop for donation to support Grad 2023.

Fort High School Doors Locked

Effective June 1st, all outside doors will be locked throughout the day. The front door will be unlocked until 8:45 a.m. and again during the lunch hour. For entrance during the day, please ring the bell at the front door.

First playoff game on MONDAY MAY 29th at 4:15pm at the Dow Ball Fields Diamond 4 vs. Bellerose. GO STING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grad Information

Grad tickets are now available to purchase using your PowerSchool Parent Portal.


The new grad list is up by the office. Any questions? See Mrs. Peddle if your last name is A-L and Mr. Vandermeulen for M-Z.

If you have textbooks and/or library material from last semester or have items you are finished with from this semester, please return them to the library as soon as possible.

Mondays - Crochet Club at lunch in Room 27 (Mr. Sorenson’s room). This is a student led club for beginners, experts or even knitters are welcome. Materials will be available.


Wednesdays - GSA – in Room 53 at lunchtime.


Fridays - Dungeons and Dragons Club – at lunch in room 26.

Summer Opportunity: Foundations in Industry Workplace Safety - July 4 - 14

Elk Island Public Schools is offering Foundations in Industry Workplace Safety for Summer 2023:

In addition to earning five high school credits, students will also obtain credentials in specific areas of workplace safety in partnership with industry-safety experts. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be credentialed in:

  • H2S Alive
  • Confined Space
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods
  • Ground Disturbance
  • Detection and Control of Flammable Substances
  • Fall Restraint Systems

Students must complete all learning components of the course to receive credentialing.
