Adult Auction and Social Wish List
Each year the McKinley PTO chooses a special focus for the money raised during the McKinley Auction & Social. We are excited to announce that this year's focus will be our McKinley’s new future through both its students and teachers! This important fundraiser not only helps to fund key PTO initiatives such as High Interest Day, annual school wide art and theater field trips and our composting program, it also generally raises money to support a special project each year. This year’s theme is Investing in OUR Future and with our new school building construction about to begin, the special project is really to help fund “special” needs that will come along during the building phase when life as we know it around McKinley will be tested for space and flexibility, as well as individual classroom teacher needs.
We are looking for donations for the auction and need your help. If you are able to donate the items below or have any other items and experiences please contact
Bill Koch at bkoch54@toadinfo.com.

Thanks in advance for helping to make a difference at McKinley!
Clip those Box Tops!
Dig in to the bottom of those drawers and keep sending them in. Remember every clip is a donation to the school!
We'll keep collecting the tradition Box Tops until the end of February. Again, simple and easy process...
Gather all the Box Top clips together, count how many you have (any amount is great!), label a zipper bag with the amount and you're done! Have your child bring the bag in to class and we'll take care of the rest. The only thing that we ask is to please make sure that the clips have a valid expiration date on them. Thank you!
And moving forward, keep scanning those receipts! The new system for Box Tops has taken hold and turned digital. Use your mobile device to scan your shopping receipts and receive the Box Tops earnings instantly.
See below for a video to learn more about the scanning process.
Again thank you for your participation in this program and supporting McKinley!
Any questions, feel free to contact Wendy Von Rueden (wvonrueden@gmail.com).

Friday, March 13th during their business hours (7 am - 3pm) that day Miss Molly’s Cafe and Pastry Shop on center and Swan will graciously donate 20% of sales that mention McKinley back to our school! Wednesday, April 8th Colectivo Coffee on Swan and North will be giving McKinley 5% of their total prepared food and drink sales all day! We are very excited about this new collaboration and support from Colectivo!
Thank You!
Thanks to everyone who came out to Pizzeria Piccola for the dine out!! The 5th graders appreciate your support. Also, thank you to the 5th grade volunteers and their parents for their help!
