These summaries are not meant to replace minutes. The minutes for each meeting are approved and posted after the next regularly scheduled meeting. We hope these summaries provide some basic information and context around the reports, presentations and action items. NOTE: In the interest of safety for Board and staff members, as well as the school community, the meeting format was adjusted. The Superintendent, Board President and Board Recording Secretary were present at the meeting location in accordance with the OMA; all other members of the Board and staff attended remotely.

Discussion on possible action regarding revision to the District 41 Reopening Plan Health & Safety Procedures approved by the Board of Education on July 20, 2020 | watch

Dr. Kaczkowski and members of the cabinet administrative team presented an update regarding the plans to reopen in the blended AM/PM model. The presentation concluded with a recommendation to move to a full remote learning start to the school year. Click here for the presentation.

Mrs. Buttimer made a motion to table action under the regular Board meeting on Monday, August 10. Mr. Currie seconded the motion.
