Principal Update

9/18/20

Happy Friday,

Thank you for your patience with the transition to Comprehensive Distance Learning(CDL). This week has been especially tough with the aftermath of the Oregon forest fires. We hope that each of your families and extended families are well and safe. We are looking forward to getting back into the building as soon as possible to finalize the device and textbook dispersal.

We know families have questions about the schedule. Please know that the middle grades schedule follows and exceeds recommendations from ODE about the optimal way to provide distance learning for middle-grade students and that the district is sending out communications to families on Monday that address many of the questions folks have shared.

Thank you for your patience.

Introducing Ms. RaeAnn Suckow: Math Instructional Specialist

Hello Beaumont Families,

My name is RaeAnn Suckow and I am excited to be joining Beaumont as the Math Coach. In this role I will be working with both teachers and students to support all math in the building.

Starting next week in math, all students will be using DreamBox as one of their asynchronous lessons per week. Teachers will be introducing this tool to students before they are expected to begin using it.

DreamBox is an online math program that is both engaging and proven to boost your student's math performance. Whether your learner is a math whiz or needs help filling in some gaps, the DreamBox platform provides your student with the individualized lessons they need to succeed. Below are some resources about the program.
