Leveraging Student Engagement
to Activate the Diverse Learner
This training will integrate UDL, technology, and co-teaching to engage and activate diverse learners. Participants will understand and experience the three key features of UDL: explicit goal setting, learner variability, and the three UDL principles (student engagement, multiple representations, and multiple modes of action). We will discover how technology can expand potential means of representation, engagement, and action for all students. The training will also model co-teaching as an additional strategy to employ in a UDL-ized classroom.
