IC + Grammarly - Solved!
Last week, I shared a problem related to IC if you have the Grammarly extension installed and said that I would let you know when it seemed to be fixed. Well, by the end of the day I had an email from the amazing Cayla Capozzi from SFMS with a solution!
Here is what she shared: "When on IC, press “esc”, and then click on the Grammarly logo in the chrome extension bar. Grammarly can be turned off per website."
I tried out her suggestion and voilà! No more flashing!
Let me know if you have other questions!
Get Certifiably Googley!
This week, I want to talk about another Google opportunity. Google offers four levels of certifications for educators: Level 1, Level 2, Trainer, and Innovator. This summer, I'll host a "bootcamp"-style cohort for those wanting their Level 1 certification but who don't want to spend a ton of time to get it done.
This course will follow Google’s training course, with the idea of the “cohort” to provide collaboration and peer motivation, as well as hands-on practice and clarification for the Level 1 Certification exam (registration and payment for the exam is your responsibility). You will need a laptop or Chromebook for the course. However, when we take the exam, you definitely need a device with a webcam, so you’ll need a Chromebook or a personal laptop.
NOTE: This cohort is limited to the first 25 registrants and will rely on Google Classroom as a primary means of communication.
