Family School Partnership News
Your 157c Parent Teacher Organization
FSP General Meeting
FSP will have our monthly general meeting on Tuesday December 3 @ 9:30 am at Grand Prairie.
A Handful of Thanks to our Book fair Volunteers and Parents
Book fair is officially over! All ordered books have been delivered. If your child ordered a book and did not receive it, please contact the chair person for your school.
We want to thank all of the FSD157c families for opening up your wallets to make the Fall 2019 book fair so successful. We had record breaking sales at ALL THREE SCHOOLS! Not to mention the participation during Family Night was outstanding!
Did you know that Scholastic Book Fair not only puts books in your child’s hands but it is also a fundraiser for our FSP? That’s right! FSP earns a percentage of the sales which is converted into dollars and scholastic dollars. The money FSP earns is used to support our Family Nights, purchase field day shirts, school assemblies, curriculum enrichment, and so much more. The Scholastic dollars are gifted to the schools to buy books for both the classrooms and library, fun furnishings for the classrooms and libraries, book displays, book bins, and so much more! Shopping at book fair gives back to your child!
We can’t wait to see you all again in the spring! And don’t forget online book fair shopping counts towards our fundraising too!
Thanks to our Un-fundraiser Donations

THANK YOU to all the families and students who came out for Family Fitness Night last week. We had an amazing turnout and we hope everyone had a wonderful time.
Our raffle basket winners were Sophia DeMarco (4th Grader at Chelsea) and Olivia Clumpner (4th Grader at Chelsea). Congratulations, girls, and enjoy your goodies.
A few shout outs to the people who made the evening possible:
- Thank you to the Mrs. McCurdy and Mrs. Borden for partnering with the FSP to put together a fun-filled fitness night and for running the amazing PE Obstacle Course event.
- Thank you to the GP staff and administration for all of their help (I'm sure we gave them a headache more than once) and to the teachers and principals for promoting the event.
- Thank you to our volunteers for all of their help and time.
- Thank you to all of our wonderful vendors and presenters.
This evening would not have been possible without each and everyone one of you! THANK YOU!!
