Dudley EL News!
See what is happening in our school community this week.
The Winds Are Kicking Up!
Batten down the hatches, it is going to be a stormy night! As I am writing this tonight, the winds are howling and the rain is coming down. I am anticipating some areas of town may not have electricity or internet tomorrow, so please stay safe and don't worry if you can't get online. We are all experiencing the storm and will be flexible with students who may be affected by power outages.
Flu Shot Reminder
If you were not able to join us for the student and family flu clinic, you can still get your flu shot at most local pharmacies as well as your primary care doctor or pediatrician's office. All students in MA must have a flu shot documented in our nurse's office by December 31st. Please email, fax. or mail your child's flu shot information to our nurse, Kathleen Wilson (email@example.com).
Last Call for School Council
We have 3 wonderful volunteers for Dudley Elementary's School Council this year, but there is still room for one more. If you would like to join school council for the 2010-2021 school year, please email me with your contact information and a short paragraph about why you would like to join our council. I would like to schedule our first meeting within the next two weeks, so don't delay!
Don't Forget to Fill Out Our Health Questionnaire Each Morning!
With Coronavirus cases on the rise, it is imperative that we monitor our own and our children's health each morning before coming to school. The virus is not spreading in our school communities and this can be attributed to the amazing job our staff and community have been doing with monitoring themselves for illness. Please continue to take this important step each morning so that we may remain in school!

Reminder, Next Week Will be Short!
This is a reminder that we have a half day on Wednesday, November 25th and no school on the 26th and 27th. Students will be expected to log in to google classroom on the 25th and complete the assignments listed. These assignments should not exceed 2 hours worth of work. After that, please celebrate the precious time we have with family. Enjoy the extended time off!
Calling All Turkey Artists
I would love some Turkey pictures to decorate the office and school this week. If your student has an affinity for making turkeys, please turn them loose and have them bring in their creations!
