From the Principal

It has been a great week at Monroe Elementary! Seeing all of the students and hearing the conversations and laughter has been enjoyable. I enjoyed meeting the students this week and talking with each class about our building expectations. I shared with the students that my goal is to know every student's name in a month. Let's see if I can do it! It's going to be a great school year.

Parents who are picking up students at the end of the school day......

It would help our dismissal process if you could put the student names that you are picking up on a piece of paper in your front window. This helps get the students to your car quicker so that we can minimize the traffic on Route 38.

PTO- volunteer opportunities

School Fees

School fees are due by September 30, 2021. The fee cost is $30 per student.

Jonathan Alder Masking Policy: Masks will be considered optional but strongly suggested, especially among our non-vaccinated population. Quarantine procedures will be guided by the Ohio Department of Health as outlined here.
Per federal mandate masks are to be worn on all public transportation, including school buses. This requirement is regardless of vaccination status.

Food Services

Jonathan Alder will again participate in the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) waiver granted by the USDA. This program assists Jonathan Alder in providing breakfast and lunch to every student in the district free of charge. This program will remain in effect for the entire 2021-2022 school year.
