The Tripp Road Culvert Replacement is nearing completion and Tripp Road will open to thru traffic on Friday, July 8 at 7 a.m. Please exercise caution in the area, as construction crews will be on site during working hours.
Coincidingly, road maintenance on Collins Road between Tripp Road (roundabout) and Redstone Drive will begin on Friday, July 8.
Collins Road – Northbound lane closure from July 8 – July 11:
The northbound lanes of Collins Road will close at 7 a.m. on Friday, July 8. Work will continue through the weekend; the northbound lanes are projected to re-open on the evening of Monday, July 11. The southbound lanes will remain open through these dates.
Detour: Thru traffic will be diverted onto Tripp Road (west of Collins Road) → Jobson Road →
Stoney Creek Boulevard or Town East Boulevard → Collins Road. Detour signage will be in
place.
Collins Road – Southbound lane closure from July 12 – July 21:
The southbound lanes of Collins Road will close on the morning of Tuesday, July 12 and are projected to re-open on the evening of Thursday, July 21. The northbound lanes will remain open through these dates.
Detour: Thru traffic will be diverted onto Stoney Creek Boulevard or Town East Boulevard→
Jobson Road → Tripp Road (west of Collins Road) → Collins Road. Detour signage will be in
place.
Completion of maintenance on Collins Road is estimated for the beginning of August 2022.
