What's Happening at DATA
Happy Friday the 13th!
If you get to see this on Friday, I hope everyone has gotten their special viewing glasses and has an opportunity to view the Ring of Fire eclipse on Saturday.
Next week is a very busy week for all of our students. On Tuesday, we have PSAT testing for all 9th -11th grade students. Wednesday is the National Merit Breakfast and our first PICK Award recognition. We also have ACT testing on Thursday for those students that signed up for the exam.
There has been a lot of coverage regarding the proposed Education Savings Accounts to allow families to have more of a choice regarding school. One aspect of NEISD that isn't always as prevalent in other districts are the variety of school choice options families have. Here at DATA, we are honored that you have chosen to make us your school of choice. If you haven't had an opportunity to watch Dr. Maika's video series discussing current education topics such as accountability, I encourage you to do so on the district's YouTube Channel.
Have a great week and until next time.
Mrs. Szabo
Congratulations!
