October is here!
Thank you also to everyone for another round of i-Ready, especially Jane, Kellie, Leah, Justin and Dan for getting it all organized and for your tech support and positive energy! Unfortunately, i-Ready is still experiencing some technical difficulties, so we will have to hold off on makeups for a bit, but overall it was another positive experience! And many of you have told me that you are very happy with the math scores of your students, which is wonderful. I think one thing that shows is that students are taking the diagnostics more seriously, which will help us be able to help them more specifically. We will all work together to figure out the most beneficial way to share results with students and parents/guardians and set goals for progress for the year.
Duties This Week:
AM: Cafeteria / PM Waverley and Bemis: L. Murphy
AM: Cafeteria / PM Bemis and Westminster: M. DiDuca
AM: Waverley Entrance / PM Waverley Driveway: K. Kiernan
Bemis St. Crosswalk: Z. Rix
The full Bus/Breakfast duty schedule is finalized and can be found here:
Bus and Breakfast Duty Schedule
Lunch Duty this Week: None! Although we are about to be down to one lunch aide again, so please ask around and let me know if you know anyone who might be interested!
***However, please speak with your students about proper lunchroom behavior, as well as travel to and from lunch. We will be working with them throughout the week and beyond, but the more it is reinforced by all adults they see, the sooner the behaviors will become routine for them. Thank you very much!

Thank you also for the feedback. If you have not already filled out the feedback form, please do so HERE. No specific email addresses are collected, so it's completely anonymous. That being said, some of you said you would like further information on topics like, "The Turnaround Plan," and "stuff," so I hope you will see me and/or someone on the ILT to get your questions answered. I am happy at any time to talk with you about the TP - it certainly is dense and prompts questions!
