Spring Concert Information

Show is at 2PM, Rehearsal at 12PM

Important Details For Year End Show

Our spring concert is this Saturday May 2nd at the Keyano Recital Theatre. Please have your dancer there at 11:45AM, for a mandatory rehearsal, NOT IN COSTUME, in the appropriate dressing rooms backstage. Make sure your child eats lunch before they arrive so they are not hungry at 1pm when they have their costume on. Please, no food after costumes go on, only water. We will have a light snack for them after rehearsal and before they put on their costumes. Kachinata, Sonechko and Zirka, will meet in room AC 130. There will be signs placed in the hallways to help you get to your designated dressing room. This room is large and lacks privacy so it is important to dress appropriately, white shirts and shorts for boys under their costume. For girls, a skin toned body suite works quite nicely. Lastivka, Veselka and Kalyna can use the small change rooms directly behind the stage entrance. Please have your dancers hair in a French braid and stage make up. Please wear beige tights, not white. Boys, please have your stage make-up as well, black socks, and your hair off your face.

After we gather in the appropriate dressing rooms we will start a rehearsal at 12 NOON SHARP. You do not need to be in costume for this. It is very important that you be on time. All children are sitting in the first two rows of the theatre and need to know what seat they are in and how and when they are getting on stage from their seat. After they rehearse, they will be taken back to their dressing rooms. At that time, you can get them a snack and then into their costumes and ready for the show.
