Welcome, Mrs. Mitchell!

We gave a warm welcome to our Interim Principal, Mrs. Kim Mitchell, on April 24. She will remain with us through the end of this school year. Mrs. Mitchell is a retired principal from Smith Elementary School in Garner. She most recently served as Interim Principal at Parkside Elementary, from whom we have only heard excellent things! We are so lucky to have her aboard!

Anchors a-WAY TO GO!

Each Friday, we celebrate four crew members for their leaderSHIP, mentorSHIP, friendSHIP and so much more! Our inaugural four staff members received an anchor and note acknowledging their hard work. Then, each week, those four crewmates pass along the anchor and kind words to four new staff members. We are so excited and honored to share them with you, too!

Message from the Office of Early Learning

The Wake Pre-Kindergarten application is open for the 2023-24 school year. Paper applications are available in our front office, or you may apply online here. These programs are for children who will be 4 years old by Aug. 31, 2023. Please submit your application by Friday, June 16 if you are interested.

If you need assistance with you completing your application, please see the support sessions available:
