Principal's Newsletter (May 2021)
High School at Sugar Creek Charter School
Let's Finish Strong!!
As this very unusual school year draws to a close, I would like to take a moment to share a few thoughts & sentiments. None of us imagined that this school year would look the way it did. I want to thank you for your kindness, grace, and cooperation as our faculty and staff members worked to provide quality learning experiences for our students and to support their efforts to learn online from home. We have been amazed by the flexibility, tenacity, and creativity that our students have shown as they have navigated this new and different way of accessing their education. They are resilient and we know that they will come through this difficult time having learned important lessons about themselves as learners and as young adults.
I can’t thank everyone enough for being "All In" and doing whatever it took to support one another.
Wildcat Parents: thank you for working with us to provide the necessary support for your students.
Wildcat Students: Thank you for all your hard work throughout the school year. I am so honored to be your principal; you make me proud to be a Wildcat. You keep me laughing and young at heart. I am grateful for your joy, astute insights, and amazing talents. I wish you a safe and healthy summer and look forward to seeing 👀 you in August.
Best wishes to our graduating Class of 2021👨🏽🎓, whom I will miss greatly—I look forward to your future visits and to hear about your great successes.
Please continue through this newsletter for details that will get us through the end of this 2020-2021 School Year.
