FREE Poverty Simulation Opportunities for On Watch Schools!

  • Number of Hispanic children below 200% poverty: 82,000
  • Adults and children receiving welfare (TANF): 22,336
  • Children receiving food stamps (SNAP): 137,000

  • Households receiving federal rental assistance: 36,219

POVERTY AFFECTS OUR SCHOOLS!

Come be a part of a poverty simulation where you experience what life may be like in poverty and how it affects our families and schools through a 1/2 day simulation. There are community and family roles with a debrief following the simulation. This opportunity is being brought to you from the Kansas Learning Network.
