Lago Vista Middle School

A Note From Mrs. Atkinson

8th graders are getting their documents for course selection, personal graduation plans, etc today. Many will probably have questions on Monday. They are due on Tuesday.

Please know (and encourage) students to come talk with me on Monday to get help with their questions. I will be available all day (except during 4th period for a meeting) to help and will have an open door all afternoon. It's important that the students feel comfortable and knowledgable with the process.

If your student needs any help - we have two options for tutorials. If they would like to come in during the morning at 7:45, teachers are available by appointment. Also, each student has an advisory period each day where they are able to get help from their teachers. If you are dropping off in the morning, please make sure to drop off by the cafeteria and the students will walk up from there.
