School Counselor Update
Highland High School- October 2019
Seniors: FAFSA is now Available
The FAFSA requires students and parents to each complete a portion.
What you need to complete your FAFSA:
-Social Security Number
-Your Alien Registration Number, if you (student) are not a US Citizen
-Your 2018 federal tax returns, W-2's and other records of income
- Banking statements and records of investments (if applicable)
-Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
-An FSA ID to sign electronically
- List of colleges.
The earlier you complete your FAFSA the earlier you will get award letters from the colleges regarding grants, loans and work study. This info can help you make your college decision. Listing a college on your FAFSA does not mean you have applied there. Be sure to complete each School's application as well.
