Mandatory Directive-Travel
Dear Cambrian Families and Staff,
The Santa Clara County Public Health Department has issued a Mandatory Directive on Travel, which strongly discourages leisure and non-essential travel. These revised and new Mandatory Directives https://www.sccgov.org/sites/covid19/Pages/public-health-orders.aspx took effect Monday, November 30, 2020 at 12:01 a.m., and will remain in effect until at least December 21, 2020 at 5:00 a.m., unless they are extended. Persons traveling into Santa Clara County, whether by air, car, train, or any other means, directly or indirectly from a point of origin greater than 150 miles from the County’s borders must quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.
Refer to this link from the Santa Clara County Public Health Department for more information.
https://www.sccgov.org/sites/covid19/Documents/Mandatory-Directives-Travel.pdf
Students and staff who are on campus for teaching, working, in-person for targeted support groups, special education assessment, or Extended Care Program must adhere to this order to maintain safety. If your family is affected by the travel quarantine, please make other arrangements for material pick-up such as having a friend pick up items during materials pick-up or contact your school office to make arrangements.
We appreciate our Cambrian School District families' diligence and attention in keeping our learning community healthy. We are Cambrian!
Yearbook Pictures Needed!
There are two ways students or community members can share photos to the yearbook.
- phone or computer app HJeshare. The password is lowercase pricepanthers. Any community member can go to this site on their phone or computer and upload a photo. It does ask for basic information when you first log in.
- email photos directly to idapricepics@gmail.com. This is better for sending multiple pictures at one time.

Support Our Students
YOU CAN HELP SUPPORT CAMBRIAN STUDENTS and ENDORSE CAMBRIAN LAND DEVELOPMENT
The Cambrian School District has been in the process of assessing potential land redevelopment of District-owned properties as a new ongoing revenue stream to support our students, programs, and District. After evaluating multiple options, we identified the Metzler Elementary School at Cambrianna Drive as a promising opportunity to convert a portion of this site into an ongoing revenue stream. The proposed development matches and complements the character of the neighborhood.
The proposed housing development project for the Cambrian School district will generate ongoing revenue that will support CSD’s outstanding programs.
Please join Cambrian parents, teachers, and neighbors and click here to sign a letter of support asking the City of San Jose to approve the District’s general plan amendment application.
For more information about the Cambrian School District’s “Support Our Students” land development initiative, please check out our webpage or contact former Cambrian School District parent Eve Walton at SOSCambrianSchoolDistrict@gmail.com. Stay informed on the Initiative, please sign up for our mailing list by clicking here.
