Greetings from your subject librarian
Welcome back! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. We’re looking forward to another great semester.
I’m happy to report that one of our vacant Research and Instruction Librarian positions has been filled by Jeff Henry. Jeff will be starting February 1. We are still in the process of interviewing for the Research and Instruction Librarian who will serve the College of Science, Engineering, & Technology and the School of Agriculture. Start date for this position should be the beginning of March or April. If you’re in one of these areas, please continue to contact me or Ashley Ireland if you have Library questions or instruction needs.
Anyone may schedule Library Instruction this semester through Laura Dziekonski at 809-4816 or call me at 809-3760. E-mail works too. I will be happy to come to your class or you can visit the library. Students are most open to research instruction after they have been assigned a project that requires it. Please remind them to contact me if they have questions during their research.
We have many new titles being cataloged this month. I will let you know by e-mail and on the Library Guides when they hit the stacks!
