Cuban Missile Crisis
Fidel Castro
Fidel Castro promoted what he fought against. He promoted Communism and stripped citizens from their freedom by taking their constitution. He elected himself president and took advantage of the power. Him and his ally, Khrushchev, almost created the third World War. It was all misinterpreted for President Kennedy. Many thought that he would not act but he ended up having missiles places around the USSR. This crisis that these countries had was just a stand off. No one was going to win and they both knew it. Castro played his cards and ended up dealing the wrong ideas and was left with the plan as unsuccessful.
