Wrapping up the Year...
Yesterday, the last day of school, we had our all school grill-out in the park. It was a great success and we had around 90 parents attend. The reason I love events like this is that it gives me a chance to connect with our students on a more casual level and also allows parents to get to know our staff. During lunch a parent asked me about the floor plans for the new elementary school. They were having trouble finding them on our website and that leads me to this letter. Below are the latest floor plans for the elementary along with a current rendering of the school from outside. As of today the site is almost done being prepared and footings will be poured sometime around June 1. Between now then we will have a construction fence put up around the entire site. We are still expecting structural steel to arrive in July.
Thanks everyone for a great year and please keep in touch.

Shed For Sale
Trimester three has finished up and that means another shed has been built by the Elm Creek Construction class and is ready to sell. This is a 10’ by 10’ clerestory shed that features 30 year limited warranty shingles, LP Smartside, (8) sliding windows, and a 36” steel door that includes a handle, deadbolt and keys. This will be selling (soon) on the upcoming auction through Adam Marshall and can be found on his website.
This year has come and gone. Students in the construction program have had the opportunity to explore the construction field with all three trimesters experiencing different aspects. All groups were able to experience the process of building a shed while others were able to get their hands on some drywall, flooring and even concrete. These kids have done a fantastic job. Even though this course may seem like all hands on, the kids were expected to know safety, procedures, and a large chunk of terminology related to the field of construction. I couldn’t be more proud of the students who received the opportunity to be in the class.
Of course, there were a few groups and individuals who helped to make this year a success. A big thanks and much appreciation to the following: Adam Marshall for the sales of our sheds. Ag Dryer for providing support, a forklift, and so much more, Jeff Meads and Morgan Fouts for transportation of shed #1, Firstier Bank for allowing us to use their lot, Cory Halliwell for donation of materials, and everyone else who may have contributed in some way or another. Without all of you, we could not have done what we did. We are blessed to have such great members in this community. From Mr. Bouc and all the students in construction, THANK YOU
