Cordelia Hills Closure Update 12

Principal's Message

I wish I could give you all concrete answers about next year but unfortunately I can not at this time. I will put out information as I receive it, even throughout the summer.

What we know about the 2020-2021 school year (at this time):

There has been much talk across many districts about a blended educational program which means that students would spend part of their week in classrooms with their teachers and part of the week in a distance learning environment. Our District and labor organizations are working on the details of what we will have here in FSUSD. We hope to have them out soon.

The Governing Board approved a Virtual School. Students who enter the Virtual School will disenroll from their current school and will remain enrolled in the K-8 Virtual School for 2020-2021. Registration is here:

2020-2021 Survey

We are looking to better understand how many of our current families will be returning to Cordelia HIlls. If you have children in grades TK-4, please take a moment to fill out this short survey to express your intentions. This Survey is NOT a commitment on your part. If you already received this survey from your teacher, you do NOT need to fill it out again.

5th Grade Farewell

Our PTA and a special group of parents and educators have planned a 5th Grade Farewell. On Friday, June 12th from 12-1:30, families can DRIVE their 5th grade student through the Main Parking Lot. We will have special gifts for each 5th grade student and staff will be on hand to cheer them on.

As a reminder, we are hosting large gatherings and families must stay in the car during the parade.

Also, we have a few students who have yet to pick up their signs or shirts. If you have yet to receive them, please email me at to arrange pick-up.
