Star Wars Game
In the Fall, 6th Graders created video games in library class. This Spring, 6th Grader Ewan Lederer-Barnes took his coding skills to the next level and created this game, below. Use the arrow keys to move, when you hit a storm trooper, you get 50 points, when you hit a probot, you lose 30 points. if you hit all three probots you lose, and if you hit all seven storm troopers, you win. Good luck!

Spring is Here
The grass is growing,
The lawns need mowing.
The kids are playing,
The trees are swaying.
The river is moving,
The sounds are soothing.
The birds are chirping,
While the parents are working.
Spring is here,
I love this time of year!
By Estella Kvinlaug, 6th Grade, Mrs. Toleman's Class

May 1st was School Lunch Hero Day! Mr. Francis Rivera (Frankie & Josie's father) donated tee shirts to the School Cafeteria workers from his shop in Cambridge, Rootz Custom Teez.
The Farm
On a cold winter morning mom milks the cows
Kolin feeds the calves
Jackson waters the heifers
Shania lets out the cows
Caleb lets the chickens out of the coop
We here cook a doodle do and a little of moo moo moo
After chores we run inside
Throw off are clothes and shoes
And huddle over the wood stove
Before we now it were getting ready for chores again
I love the farm

Creatures
There are millions of creatures that roam our land,
There are big ones and small ones,
Strong ones and weak ones.
Ones that camouflage, and ones that stand out,
Some that are nimble, and others quite stout.
They’re cute and they’re scary,
Some give you dysentery,
If they had it first.
Over all they’re grand,
The creatures that roam our land.
