Winter After-School Recreation
Please note that registration for our winter self-sustaining afterschool recreational programs is underway and will close Monday, January 2nd, 2023. The start date for each program varies, depending on the day they meet, which begin Jan. 3rd. Please refer to the sign up sheet, which has a link to the flyer for those specific meeting dates and cost.
This winter we will be offering a range of programs, including Art club, Literacy Café, Cheerleading, Chess Club, Baking, Photography, Guitar Club, Harry Potter Club, Football, and much, much more. There are 17 activities to choose from!! Click here for the flyer describing each one.
Advertisement forms will be available in the cafeteria during student lunch periods and registration is online through our school website at www.is75.org.
There are limited seats available in each class, so be sure to sign up early because classes will fill up quickly.”

Jupiter Ed
Parents were emailed an invite for Jupiter Ed on Weds. Nov 9th. Students should have joined around Nov. 14th. Any questions, please reach out to Mr. Simone via email TSimone3@schools.nyc.gov. Jupiter Ed. is strictly being used for grade purposes only.
CHAMPS: everyone can join
In the CHAMPS Sports and Fitness Program, students participate in fun, safe, and supervised physical activities before school. The name CHAMPS stands for Cooperative, Healthy, Active, Motivated and Positive Students.
CHAMPS will run from Nov 1, 2022 through Feb. 3, 2023. Hours are 6:45 am to 7:30 am, Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday only Any questions email FSciarabba@schools.nyc.gov
8th Grade News and Dates
- Wednesday December 14th - DEADLINE for the completed "Applicant Records" to be received by Catholic high schools
- Tuesday January 31st - Senior Dues are due ($195 pay here)
- Wednesday June 7th - The 8th Grade Banquet at the Hilton on Staten Island.
- Thursday June 22, 2023 - 10 am Graduation at CSI

Senior dues will be accepted now through the end of January. Payment of Senior Dues can be made via our website at www.is75.org under the “Payment & Registration” tab

Blythedale Toy Drive 2022
Our 22nd Annual Holiday Toy Drive to benefit Blythedale Children’s Hospital is continuing until mid- December.
Students may drop of their donations each day to Mr. Herrmann’s office in Room 339 during their advisory class. Donations will be logged for service credits and for credits toward 8th Grade Philanthropy Award applications.

Saturday Free Family Painting Sessions
This Family Engagement grant, sponsored by The Department of Education’s Office of Arts & Special Projects, will allow us to offer a series of four separate sessions between November and March (each session is made up of three-parts – three Saturdays), and will meet from 10 am-12 noon.
You can choose from the session dates that appear below (indicate first and second choice):
Session II – December 3, 10, and 17
Session III – January 21, 28, and February 4
Session IV – March 4, 11, and 18
Culminating Year-End Share-Out Celebration = March 25

Saturday Virtual Math Tutoring
Classes will meet weekly on Saturday morning from 9 AM to 10:30 AM starting October 8th.
Classes will take place remotely though the "Saturday Math Tutoring Google Classroom".
