A Message From Our Principals
Dear families,
Thank you to all the families who attended Parent Night! It was a joy to connect with so many. Our school year is underway and routines have been set. We look forward to all the ways we are able to connect throughout the year to support our students. Please see the upcoming events and reminders below.
-Dr. Gruper and Mrs. Reinhardt
Safety Drills September 6th
We conducted safety drills with the police and fire department on September 6th. We received excellent feedback from the law enforcement teams and our Director of School Safety, Gary Snep, to continue to improve our practices. Students did an incredible job following direction and taking the drills seriously.
"Seas" The Day In Glacier Ridge's Ocean Of Learning Library!
Library check out has begun! Please find a good spot at home to keep library books so they are not lost or damaged. Also, please help your child bring library books back by the day of their library class each week. If a book is lost or damaged, please let us know right away and we will make a plan together!
'Tis the SEA-son to swim over to our ocean themed library and volunteer!
The entire school uses the library and we have lots of jobs to do. Any day, AM or PM, we can use your assistance. If you are interested, first fill out this brief online volunteer application on the districts website (for more information on the volunteer procedure, click here). After you complete the online application, please fill out this form. If you have any questions, pease email: gwjohnston@d47.org.
Thank you for considering helping,
Mrs. Johnston (Library Information Specialist) and Mrs. Getty (Library Paraprofessional)
