Music
1. Music at times can play a huge role in my life, influence what I do and why. Other times of my life I really don't focus on music and don't listen very often. For example when I feel my self esteem is low, I like to listen to songs that empower me.
2. I like to listen to many different genres of music (mainly pop and classical) though I prefer to listen to certain genres and songs at certain times. When I have a headache and want to rest or want to read, I would prefer to listen to light classical music. When I am in the car on a long car ride I would usually prefer to listen to pop but sometimes I prefer to listen to classical music such as the Downton Abbey soundtrack, which is very relaxing on a car ride in the countryside or while travelling in the mountains.
3. Bands, orchestras, singers that I enjoy:
-Chamber Orchestra of London
-Frédéric Chopin
-La Roux
-Keane
-Sweet Thing
-The Sounds
-Red Hot Chili Peppers
-Queen
-Coldplay
4. A song that I find has meaning to me is 'Somewhere Only We Know' by Keane and also Lily Allen. I used to like this song while I was young and watching Winnie the Pooh (one of my favorite TV shows). This song was featured in one of the stories in Winnie the Pooh and I forgot about it until recently when I saw an advert featuring the song sung by Lily Allen. I instantly felt like I'd heard that song before and felt a connection. I like to listen to this song when I am not feeling the best.
5.This song is a cover of "Somewhere Only We Know" by Keane.
Somewhere Only We Know
Cover By Lily Allen
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete
Oh simple thing, where have you gone?
I'm getting tired and I need something to rely on
I came across a fallen tree
I felt the branches of it looking at me
Is this the place we used to love?
Is this the place that I've been dreaming of?
Oh simple thing, where have you gone?
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
And if you have a minute why don't we go
Talk about it somewhere only we know?
This could be the end of everything
So why don't we go somewhere only we know?
Somewhere only we know
Oh simple thing, where have you gone?
I'm getting old and I need someone to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin
And if you have a minute why don't we go
Talk about it somewhere only we know?
'Cause this could be the end of everything
So why don't we go somewhere only we know?
Somewhere only we know
7. I like this song because of the very unique lyrics and the tune of the song. The song in itself is very unique and inspiring. I find it to be one of my favorite songs.
8. I find this song’s lyrics relate to my current life (in high school) because in the song the “person” asks where everything simple has gone. This really struck me in a personal manner once I realized that’s how everyone must feel in high school, as I do.
9. My favorite lyric of the song is ‘I’m getting tired and I need something to rely on’. I find this lyric relates to me because sometimes I am so nervous or scared for something I just want to rely on someone or something but have nothing. I have felt this way my entire life and I intend to change that completely. I shouldn’t need to rely on anything, I should be able to know that I am capable of getting through something by myself.

Where we hang out together: Each other's houses, the movies, school (obviously), etc.
How they make me feel: Happy, confident with myself, less anxious about being immersed in an awkward situation. Unknown people or situations usually make me anxious while I am by myself, so having friends like them help me.
Why I am friends with them: We have similar interests. I can't really explain why exactly I am friends with people, but similar interests seems to make the most sense with friendships.
