Public Invited to New High School Site on October 10
The public is welcome to visit the new Neenah High School site off Winchester Road on Monday, October 10 from 4-5 p.m. for the latest look at construction progress. Miron construction staffers will lead visitors through an informative visit of the site with specific explanations about the interior drywall installation and painting, exterior brick, metal fabrication and windows installation and an overall site tour.
The event does not require hard hats, but visitors are advised to dress accordingly and wear closed-toe shoes. This is the third "Milestone Moment" during the construction process. Additional events will be held periodically leading up to the school's opening in the fall of 2023.
For continued updates on the project, check out our Forward Together page on the District website.

Board of Education to Review Sale of Roosevelt and Jacobsen Properties
Roosevelt will be closing following the 2022-23 school year with students attending the newly-created Horace Mann Elementary School. Alliance Charter School, which currently occupies the Roosevelt building, will relocate into Wilson Elementary with Wilson students also moving to Horace Mann.
The District has also been offered $450,000 for a 15.7-acre property on Jacobsen Road in Fox Crossing. The land was purchased over 50 years ago with the possibility of eventually building an elementary school on the west side of the District. However, the District has decided to put the parcel up for sale. The Board will review the offer on Oct. 18 and vote at its Nov. 1 meeting.

Fall Musical "Anastasia" Set for Oct. 12-16
Neenah High School’s fall musical will take place Oct. 12-16 in Pickard Auditorium as the Rocket Players present five shows of “Anastasia."
Tickets are on sale now at rocketplayers.com or at the Pickard box office one hour prior to the show. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students (fee applies for online orders). Shows are Oct. 12-15 at 7 p.m. each night and Oct. 16 at 2 p.m.
Based on the beloved animated movie from 20th Century Fox, Anastasia is both a heartwarming and heart-wrenching dive into one of history’s biggest unanswered questions: what happened to Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov? (played by Maddie Van Zeeland, pictured)
"Anastasia has been a joy to rehearse, with beautiful music, a fast-moving and compelling story, plenty of comedy, and a lot of heart," said Director Kathleen McCurdy. "This is a 'not to be missed' production put on by some of the loveliest students I've had the pleasure of directing. It is appropriate and heartwarming for all ages, so we're hoping that families are able to enjoy a special night out together while supporting our talented cast of Anastasia!"
