Notes from Scotland

Harvest Bible College
I'm thankful I get to spend time with the students and staff at Harvest Bible College in Scotland. They have a special place in my heart. I am impressed with their hard work and dedication to Scripture. They are being well equipped to share the gospel.
My First Thanksgiving in Scotland
We feasted and enjoyed each other's company. The sounds of the FaceTime ring could be heard during and after dinner connecting students and staff to their "other" life. The life who made them who they are today.
I enjoyed connecting with my kids and family back home.
Out for dinner with fellow Aimer and Missionary to the United Kingdom
I'm enjoying trying new foods from various countries. Here, I am trying "pho" for the first time with fellow aimer, Andrew Sherley and Allison Mitchell, missionary to the United Kingdom. I am thankful for new friends.
Outreach on the Streets of Glasgow on a Sunny Day
Saturday outreach with Chris and Joselyn (both students), and Cori Smith, aimer (and friend!) to Scotland.
Guest Teacher Sidney Poe and Sis. Poe.
I enjoyed time with Bro. and Sis. Poe. My favorite thing he told me, "What you are, is God's gift to you. What you make of yourself, is your gift to God."
In the kitchen, he calls me "Cookie." I'll take it!
A New Item in the Kitchen
Thanks to Sis. Rachel Malarz who donated funds to purchase a Kitchen Aid Mixer. It has been a blessing to have. I am grateful for everyone who has supported me, including my home church.
Sightseeing with Guest Teacher, Dr. Beth Smith.
I have been blessed to meet many amazing teachers at Harvest Bible College. I get to cook for them, take them sightseeing, and sit in on their classes as time permits.
