We would like to congratulate Trever McBride on obtaining a new job through OSTC. He was able to update his resume in the counseling office and OSTC personnel helped him to make additions and revisions reflecting his expertise in computer experience. After seeing his new resume, MADE, Manufacture and Design Electronics offered him a work-based learning position with their company!! We are truly proud of Trever and all he has accomplished!

Excuse Me
Attention parents! If your student has been out of school sick and has been to a doctor, please send the doctor note into the office so that the student may receive an excused absence for those days. We will also accept notes from other appointments (therapist, dentist), however, all notes must be provided within 2 weeks of the absence. Thank you.
On Tuesday, Dec. 20th, students from FCCLA, NTHS, and Leadership traveled to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. Students inspected, sorted, and packaged over 5,000 pounds of food!

Holly FCCLA Socks for Change!
https://www.youtube.com/embed/BCHhwxvQqxg
Consider these facts:
- Every 20 seconds a child dies from lack of access to clean water.
- Women and children in many communities spend up to 60 percent of each day walking to collect water.
- 4,500 children die each day due to unsafe water and a lack of basic sanitation.
- Most of us don’t even think about it. We use 80 – 100 gallons of water every day. It’s just a part of life.
- But for millions of children throughout the developing world, the possibility of drinking clean water is just a dream.
We started the sock campaign to provide clean drinking water for communities in Rwanda so children and their families can get the clean water they need to live healthy lives. Please buy a pack or two — even one pack of socks will be a huge help. Together we can greatly improve their lives… one step at a time. For every pack sold, we will receive a pair of socks to donate to people in need within our community! Thank you!
*Socks can be purchased in Mrs. Barth’s Classroom- A201 or go to the website below. https://go.wehelptwo.com/campaign/?campaignid=18046
